Either party may cancel a pending request before the host approves. No platform fee is charged.

After card payment, cancellations before the trip starts may trigger a Stripe refund of the rental amount.

Destination Connect transfers are reversed with the refund when Stripe allows. If the connected account lacks balance, Flipio support may intervene.

The online deposit hold may be refunded only while the booking is still pending and the host has not paid the platform commission.

After the host pays commission, the deposit hold is non-refundable (anti off-platform bypass).

Once a booking is active or completed, cancellations are handled as disputes via chat and support@getflipio.com.
